Devotion Vodka announced that respected spirits industry veteran Art Laib has been named vice president of national accounts, while the company has appointed seven new state sales managers to the Devotion Vodka management team.
The new state sales managers for emerging markets include Mitch Kaplan – Georgia/North Florida; Patrick CoCo – Arizona/New Mexico; Adrienne Abel – Colorado; Tony DeYoung – Upstate New York; Promark headed by Steve Diebold – Illinois; BevXUSA – headed by Don Crancer – Northern California; and David Helton as LGBT Brand Ambassador – Northern California.
Laib comes to Devotion Vodka having served in senior leadership positions with Brown-Forman and Diageo. His core responsibilities for Devotion Vodka will be to supervise strategic sales initiatives in primary and emerging markets, while developing and executing programs to grow national accounts. Laib will also work closely with the state sales managers, as the brand penetrates new markets and continues to increase distribution at on-premise and off-premise locations.
“This is the natural progression for a growing company,” says Drew Adelman, CEO, Devotion Vodka. “Efficiently servicing our customers is a priority, and as we establish the Devotion brand in new markets, it is essential to have management on the ground, to ensure turnkey operations at all new accounts, both on-premise and off-premise.”
As the gluten-free and sugar-free offerings continue to expand in many food and beverage categories, Devotion Vodka is at the forefront of this movement in the spirits marketplace. The growth of the brand is supported by Devotion’s strong endorsement from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), as Devotion is the ONLY vodka brand permitted to print both “Gluten-Free” and “No Added Sugar” on the bottle, a key differentiator for a growing company battling global brands for shelf space.
Gluten-free and sugar-free living is becoming a lifestyle for millions of individuals who must adhere to dietary restrictions, and/or for those who choose to adopt specific diets. Whether scanning for ingredients due to dietary restrictions or checking the origin of the product, consumers are more committed to reading labels. Devotion Vodka offers adults over the age of 21, who like to indulge from time to time, a delicious and “less guilty” version of their favorite specialty cocktail.
“Consistent growth prompted us to expand our leadership team, and bringing a respected industry veteran like Art to the company reinforces our commitment to gaining shelf space while establishing the Devotion brand in new markets,” says Mike Calleja, COO, Devotion Vodka.
